Do you work with Model Search America by chance because they are saying to people you endorse them.

also sells leads to both Talent Palooza and Talent Rock. From the information I hear in the office Lou Pearlman met with some people from Talent Palooza and speculation is they are buying them out or doing some kind of revenue sharing.

I will keep you updated

No, I do not work for Model Search America or any other model/talent company. I do freelance CAD work for a living.

When I first started this blog I had Model Search America, Super Model Scouts and Talent Rock listed as trusted talent search companies. While I was search for Talent Palooza Scam information I found some dirt on all three companies I had listed so I removed them all.

I got an email from someone last week that told me that and were selling leads to Talent Rock and Talent Palooza. I contacted both companies about this matter and they both told me that they do not and can not sell leads to any companies. also added that this information is listed in their privacy policy.

Also, I highly doubt Lou Pearlman is working with Talent Palooza. In fact some of the guys behind Talent Palooza just tried to sue Pearlman for $25 million (search for "lou pearlman" on Google News to read more). Would you work with someone after that?

Pearlman's hardly squeaky clean, however. I think he's running a similar operation.

I know personally someone who worked on the phone for him trying to talk people into signing up. She left because she felt like she was part of a scam.

This was about 18 months ago.

There are very few business owners these days that are squeaky clean.

I personally did a little bit of research on Talent Rock because after looking over it looked like Talent Palooza was linked to Talent Rock, I was kind of wrong.

Here is how I see it...

Lou Pearlman backed/funded a talent scouting company called Fashion Rock witch was being run by Mark Tolner and the infamous Alec Defrawy.

In true Defrawy fashion the company got noticed as scam right away by Klaas and other scam busters.

Lou Pearlman gets wind of the shady dealings and gives Mark Tolner and Alec Defrawy the boot. For whatever reason Pearlman decides to keep the company, but he totally changes the business model.

Fashion Rock then goes from being a talent scouting company to a talent show/talent workshop based company. Being that Tolner and Defrawy trashed the Fashion Rock name Pearlman changes the name of the company to Talent Rock.

So, I guess you can say that Fashion Rock did start off on a bad foot, and you can link Defrawy to Fashion Rock, but when Pearlman stepped in and changed the business model and the name everything changed. Furthermore, if you doe some research you will find that there have been no complaints of any kind about Talent Rock since the changes took place.

I would also like to note that Lou Pearlman also funds/backs, co-owns and is involved in many other companies all over the world. Based off of the quick research I did I found 17 companies that he is part of. Maybe I can get Lou to fund my CAD company I have been trying to get up off the ground for the last 5 years. ;-)

I see moderation was turned on. I guess this blogger out for truth censors opinions which don't coincide with his own? Yea keep scammin bud, keep scammin. You know they can sue you for this right?

I don't censor any opinions! If I did I would not have added your waste of a comment.

I have comment moderation on becuase anyone with half a brain knows that if you don't have moderation on you will get hit by link posting blog spammers.

Also Talent Palooza can't sue me. Have you ever heard the term "freedom of press"? If anything Talent Palooza should be hoping that I don't end up suing them for all that they have put me and my family through.

Is there anything else you would like to add?

Do you know for a fact this is a scam because I just paid them 2195.00 to go for me and my fiance.
PLease letr me know.

Do you have any info on this information? Are you connected to these men in any way. I was told by someone that you work for them. Can you verify or deny this information.

Yes, Talent Palooza 100% without a doubt a scam.

No, I do not know any of those men. The only person from that website that I notice is Klaas. I do not personally know him nor have I ever talked with him, but I have read his board posts on and I have check out his website.

Libellous site is a deceitful ripoff of the long time established and respected scams exposing site

I wonder if the owner of the smear version will be prepared to do jail time for the guys in the background.

I had a feeling that the information on the website was false.

Ed Magedson of RipoffReport, Les Henderson and Klaas de Vries are all real people whose exposes have caused Alec Defrawy to strike back with bogus web sites and message board comments accusing them of all sorts of crimes and nefarious activities.

My perspective: I have corresponded on many occasions with Henderson and de Vries, and I have met Defrawy twice.

So trying to find all this info and to put it together... what is the end result of the scam of the talent... is there really a show you go to... or do you just get down there and BAM nothing??? Or like what happen to you they tell you it is canceled…

At 5:30 PM, Blogger Talent Palooza Scam Staff said...

Do you know of any other bogus websites that Alec Defrawy is currently running? If you do please email them to me. I would love to complie a list and make a blog post about them.

The Talent Palooza event that I had signed my daughter up for never happened. We were told that the event had been cancelled due to Florida's hurricane season.

Defrawy's a moving target, employing many variations on the same theme.

Your best bet for keeping up with his latest online adventures is probably this web site:
